It’s Chicago, 1923. The big news is that Mugsy Morello is coming to the Bee’s Knees, a local speakeasy. But there’s a problem. Coco has heard some chatter out back. A couple of palookas think a canary’s coming, and when he sees alcohol being served, he’s gonna sing.
Some guy named Pete Fink seems to be asking a lot of questions, but no one knows who the stool pigeon is. And Charlie, the owner, doesn’t quite know how to flush him out.
